"Really impressed with this unit. It fits snugly in the cup holder and seems pretty well built. The articulating arm is stiff and holds its place without wobbling or shaking once you get it where you want it. Rotating the cuff at the bottom of the mount provides a smooth extension of the cup holder bumpers. 3 silicone pads come with the mount now and they add about a half an inch of extra thickness to assist with fitment in large cup holders. I have an iPhone 7 with a Lifeproof case on it and it fits easily in the mount, but it doesn't seat 100% in the bottom "hooks", but it's close enough. That's not a problem for me because the sides hold the phone firmly in place. The section that holds your phone rotates as well so you can have your phone in landscape mode if you want. It works for me and doesn't wobble, rattle, or shake while I'm driving. I like it a lot so far." - David S
