"After a week of heavy use and toying with my new Apeman C420 dash cam, I am very impressed by the quality and features that are packed into such an affordable unit. One could spend much more, but if you're looking to get into dash cam fun on a budget, this cam will totally fit the bill and leave you enough spare change to fill your tank a few times.
In addition to the standard features that are clearly listed in the spec, this dash cam also includes multiple resolutions, HDR, exposure compensation and several security features that work when the unit is powered off - specifically, a parking shock sensor, motion sensor and headlight warning (still trying to figure that one out). Video quality is great, in fact, I'm using it at 720p instead of 1080p now just to fit more video on the 32GB card before it cycles and begins erasing the oldest files first (more on that and re-formatting in a moment). Finally, an undocumented feature is the ability to lock the current video just by clicking the menu button once while recording (or twice if the screen saver - black screen) is activated. Naturally, the instructions are generally incomprehensible but the on-screen programming is intuitive enough that you really shouldn't need them." - JimmyK
