"We have to get window fans every couple years. We use them non-stop pretty much 9 months out of the year. I can't stand air not moving in the bedroom. Plus we air dry some of our laundry in it and the moisture becomes an issue unless the air circulates. We've had several brands over the years. All of these fans are "noisy", I don't care what brand you get. I chose these ones this year because the fan area is much more open than the competitors. The one notable difference is this fan doesn't push against our screen so bad as last years brand. So, it must also be a slimmer design.
It works wonderfully for what it's made to do. The controls are all manual twist knobs, not remotes. I also like that this model doesn't have the buttons that beep every time you push it. So this fan's good for when someone's sleeping and you need to adjust your speed. I also will not buy a fan without dual directional fans. This model works smoothly for that function.
