"Q: Can you wear the gauntlet?
A: No. It's too small, the fingers are solid pieces, and it does not have a hollow interior above the wrist
Q: Can you take the gauntlet off its stand?
A: No it is assembled onto the stand. The only easily removable parts are the four flaps extending from the wrist but there's no point in doing that.
This is the first Lego set I've bought (or have been gifted) in about 20 years, so I really can't provide an in-depth review about the construction quality or if it's a suitable price compared to other recent Lego sets, even though I still kind of feel as if $60 would've been the perfect price. It took me about 2 and half hours to assemble but I was also watching TV a bit and also double checking every instruction. So I would estimate that without any distractions it would take somebody at most an hour and a half to assemble it. There were about a dozen spare pieces left over after assembly, around half of them being spare infinity stone pieces.
As a big MCU fan, this was a no-brainer purchase for me and the final assembled product looks great. Even though Iron Man is my favorite Avenger, I wasn't a fan of the Iron Man helmet set and the Guardians of the Galaxy ship set looked a little too much like a toy to sit out on display -- this is just my personal opinion on those sets and how they would look in my home, you can put whatever you want wherever you want in your own homes no hate from me. There are multiple joints in each finger and you can also slightly move the base of every finger, so there are a number of gestures you can make and the back of the box shows you the Thanos snap.
There's not really much more to say about it. It looks amazing in person and if you wanted a collectable to summarize the years of entertainment that the MCU has provided so far, I can't think of anything better for $70 or less." - Barinade
