"This is a worthy successor to the older M325 wireless mouse. The fit is good on the hands, although I prefer the more satin-like finish on the M325 to the glossy finish on this. Responsiveness is smoother, more fluid than on its predecessor, and it works very well on a variety of surfaces. The higher responsiveness is especially nice on 4K displays, where you have greater precision across the much higher resolution landscape.
The M525 seems to be missing the "reset" button that's on the bottom of the M325. I don't see it anywhere inside/beneath the battery cover either. Maybe it's no longer needed.
Logitech claims that the battery life on these is 3+ years. Since I bought this relatively early in 2018 I should then expect to use these batteries until 2021. Even if they crap out after *only* one year I would still consider that impressive." - James A
